112 degrees - time for the beach

We had record heat in Marin this past weekend - prompting us to hit the beach to escape the burn. We headed over to Bolinas where we watched some surfers ride the gentle waves and threw some sticks into the ocean for Riley to chase (see below).

We capped off our day in Bolinas with bbq'd oysters and a freshly caught wild halibut sandwich, before returning to our baking home (106F).

It's now Tuesday and it's still darn hot - at least it's only in the upper 90s vs the 100s. Posted by Picasa
