Before and After

We had our trees trimmed down this past week to restore our view of the seminary down in San Anselmo. I don't think the pictures capture the dramatic change -- before it felt like we were living in a jungle of trees, with the tops rising up so they simply resembled bushes. After it feels like we're perched above the trees with a spectacular panorama of Mt. Baldy, San Anselmo, and even Mt. Tam.

It's great to sit out on the terrace in the morning and evening to soak in the serenity. During the days though, it's blazing hot right now... pushing up in the high 90s even up to 6pm.
