our London trip has hit a major roadblock

Dominic and I just landed in London about 2 hours ago after a delayed flight from SFO.  We're here to join our client at a major conference that has been in the works for several months.  We just received an email from the organizers stating that a "member of the public has been shot at the venue" so the conference must be rescheduled as the police are closing off the building for the next three days.  I've never experienced that sort of thing before... So we'll be strategizing our Plan B over dinner.  As our client said, "Well, maybe this means I have more time for siteseeing."  Will keep you posted.
