Dinner at La Marea on the beach again tonight. The evening was warm and balmy - even the sand in our toes under the table was still holding the heat of the day.

After such a fantastic day of enjoying the sun and the dolphins, we were famished and ready for our Christmas dinner. Tonight we shared our appetizers of Terrine stuffed with apricot, glazed palm hearts and organic hand-made chocolate sauce; and Charred Octopus with grilled polenta, tomato chutney and arugula pesto. Then came Bouillabaisse with seafood and rouille, followed by a Mind and Lemon Grass granite. For our main we had Roasted Glazed Turkey with baby vegetables, mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry jam. Dessert this evening was a decadent chocolate tart, banana cream cake, and fruit tart. Wine was a magnificent Chilean chardonnay. All the while, this fantastic salsa band played terrific music for us.
