I'm feeling good about the upcoming NY Marathon and will be embarking on my longest run yet this Sunday - 22 miles. My left knee has been hurting a bit though, and on this morning's run, it felt cranky from the very get-go, so I decided to turn around and give it an extra day of rest. No use pushing through it only to discover I've caused damage that will hinder my performance on the big day. I've also now laced up my sneaks with the ING Charity bright orange shoelaces. Hope they bring me good luck.
