I went to Seattle on Wednesday to pick up my mom and bring her back to Ross. It should have been a quick and easy flight, but for some reason, our return flight was delayed by 4 hours, so we had a lot of time to sit and people-watch in SeaTac. The holiday rush was just starting to pick up - lots of people flying off to cold and warm destinations. But we finally made it back home around 9:30pm and settled into the Christmas spirit.
Yesterday Dominic returned from Europe with a bounty of yummy treats - miniature mince pies, foie gras, Iranian caviar. A better haul than my meager stash of "Quality Street" and "Roses" chocolates from England.
Today we're off to get the tree. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!
