I was supposed to fly to Tacoma yesterday night but United called me after I had gleefully just received my upgrade confirmation to tell me my flight was cancelled. Well, at least I found out before I drove to the airport. I thus ended up flying into Seattle today and saw the city covered with a coating of white. Tacoma turned out to be a bit less wintery, but by afternoon, the snow started to fall quite heavily and we're now blanketed in white as well. Tonight it's frigid - lows in the teens/20s and tomorrow the highs will be in the 20s. Yikes. But it's a good contrast to what I'll be feeling on my bones in one week - the sun and fun of Mexico!
