Another medal for the collection!
I was standing near the final stretch, which included an uphill climb past the 26-Mile marker of the NY Marathon and saw him flying past the other runners looking like a cheetah after its prey. He finished with a blazing 8 minute mile pace and ranked high within his age group. Darn impressive for a person who had never run more than 10 feet up until 3 months ago!
