I've discovered it's very hard to paint people you know - the proportions never turn out quite right, the expressions aren't quite there... Well, anyway, that's my experience, as evidenced here.
I started this painting last month, but didn't get around to finishing it until this month, so I hope it still qualifies for October DPG.
The reason I call it nostalgic is because it's from Dominic and Olivier's summer holiday. Maybe this will be the first of many paintings I will do of their hols - but perhaps next time
