A bright red light slowly hovered in the sky. I thought it was a helicopter or satellite, but it came closer (as in this pic) and then went so far away you could no longer see it. Then it slowly returned. It never flashed but was a constant light - very bright when close but still discernible very far away. Others began pointing at it and watching it as well, but nobody knew what it was.
We saw the exact same thing in the sky yesterday at our house. at first I thought it was a firework, but that changed way and no sound came! It's passed over the house and on the other side began to disappear slowly...
